Consumer Description
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2013 FORD FIESTA. THE CONTACT STATED WHILE DRIVING 30 MPH, THE TRANSMISSION FAILED TO SHIFT GEARS AS NEEDED. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE CHECK ENGINE WARNING LIGHT WAS ILLUMINATED. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO FAMILY FORD (909 PIKE ST, MARIETTA, OH 45750) TO BE DIAGNOSED. THE CONTACT WAS INFORMED THAT THE TRANSMISSION NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE HAD BEEN REPAIRED TWICE HOWEVER, THE FAILURE RECURRED. THE MANUFACTURER HAD BEEN INFORMED OF THE FAILURE AND REFERRED THE CONTACT TO NHTSA TO FILE A COMPLAINT. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 105,000.
