Consumer Description

MY [XXX] VEHICLE IS UNDER TWO RECALL NOTICES. ONE IS FOR FAULTY BRAKES, THE OTHER FOR A FAULTY DRIVER'S SIDE AIRBAG. I BELIEVE THE NHTSA NEEDS TO CAREFULLY CONSIDER THE CONSEQUENCES OF THIS COMBINATION OF DEFECTS. RIGHT WHEN YOU NEED THE ABS PROTECTION THE SYSTEM COULD FAIL POTENTIALLY CAUSING A CRASH AND AIRBAG DEPLOYMENT. THIS COULD KILL THE DRIVER AND OTHERS IN THE CAR. UNLIKE THE PASSENGER SIDE AIRBAG RECALL, THIS DEADLY COMBINATION RENDERS THE VEHICLE UNSAFE TO DRIVE. RECOMMEND NHTSA ORDER FOMOCO TO PROVIDE SUITABLE ALTERNATE TRANSPORTATION TO AFFECTED CAR OWNERS UNTIL RECALL REPAIRS CAN BE EFFECTED.
