Consumer Description

PASSENGER SEAT - SEAT/AIRBAG OCCUPANCY SENSOR FAILED. THE AIRBAG AND SEATBELT LIGHT REMAINS LIT. BMW SAID NOT COVERED UNDER ANY WARRANTY EVEN THOUGH IT'S A SAFETY ISSUE. ESTIMATED COST TO REPAIR - $3,000. APPARENTLY AIRBAG AND SEATBELT WILL NOT ENGAGE IF SENSOR IS NOT WORKING
