Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2012 KIA OPTIMA. THE CONTACT STATED WHILE THE VEHICLE WAS PARKED, AN OCCUPANT WAS WEARING THE DRIVER'S SIDE REAR SEAT BELT HOWEVER, THE BUCKLE CEASED AND FAILED TO RETRACT OR RELEASE. THE OCCUPANT HAD TO SLIDE OUT THE SEAT BELT. THE CONTACT CALLED GRAND KIA (1950 W 104TH AVE, DENVER, CO 80234, (720) 943-1144) TO NOTIFY THE DEALER OF THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSE NOR REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 230,000.
