Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2015 KIA SOUL. THE CONTACT RECEIVED A RECALL NOTICE FOR NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER 20V750000 (ENGINE), AND SHE CONTACTED WESELOH KIA CARLSBAD (5335 PASEO DEL NORTE, CARLSBAD, CA 92008) WHOM INFORMED HER THAT ALL KIA DEALERS WERE CLOSED AND WOULD NOT BE ABLE TO SERVICE THE RECALL. THE CONTACT STATED UPON STARTING THE VEHICLE, THE ENGINE AND OIL WARNING LIGHTS ILLUMINATED AS WELL AS A BURNING ODOR WAS DETECTED IN THE CABIN OF THE VEHICLE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT TAKEN TO THE DEALER FOR DIAGNOSIS OR REPAIR. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS UNKNOWN.
