Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2014 RAM 1500. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING AT 30 MPH, THE VEHICLE STALLED WITHOUT WARNING. THE CONTACT MANAGED TO COAST THE VEHICLE TO THE SHOULDER OF THE ROAD TURN THE VEHICLE OFF AND BACK ON HOWEVER, THE VEHICLE FAILED TO RESUME NORMAL OPERATION. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO CRISWELL CHRYSLER JEEP DODGE RAM FIAT (84 BUREAU DR, GAITHERSBURG, MD 20878, (301) 637-4198) WHERE IT WAS DETERMINED THAT THE LIFTER ROCKER FAILED ON THE PASSENGER'S SIDE. ADDITIONALLY, THE CAMSHAFT NEEDED TO BE REPAIRED. THE CAMSHAFT WAS RESEALED AND THE TOP STARTER AND LIFTERS WERE REPLACED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 108,982.
