Consumer Description
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2008 PONTIAC G6. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING AT VARIOUS SPEEDS, THE POWER STEERING WOULD INTERMITTENTLY FAIL TO OPERATE AS THE POWER STEERING LOSS WARNING MESSAGE APPEARED ON THE INSTRUMENT PANEL. THE CONTACT STATED THE UPON RESTART OF THE VEHICLE, THE POWER STEERING BRIEFLY RETURNED TO NORMAL OPERATION BEFORE BECOMING INOPERABLE MOMENTS LATER. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 170,000.
