Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2013 KIA SOUL. THE CONTACT STATED WHILE DRIVING 55-60 MPH, THE VEHICLE WAS SHAKING AND FAILED TO ACCELERATE. THE CHECK ENGINE WARNING LIGHT WAS FLASHING. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC WHERE THE CONTACT WAS INFORMED THERE WERE GROOVES IN THE ENGINE BLOCK. THE LOCAL DEALER WAS NOT CONTACTED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED NOR REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS CONTACTED HOWEVER, NO FURTHER ASSISTANCE WAS PROVIDED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 190,000.
