Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2015 TESLA MODEL S. THE CONTACT STATED WHILE DRIVING 65 MPH, THE INSTRUMENT PANEL WENT BLANK. THE CONTACT STATED NO WARNING LIGHT WAS ILLUMINATED. THE CONTACT PULLED OVER TO THE SIDE OF ROADWAY AND RESTARTED THE VEHICLE AND THE INSTRUMENT PANEL STARTED TO WORK PROPERLY. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE LOCAL DEALER TESLA SERVICE CENTER (2077 E. UNIVERSITY DR, TEMPE, AZ 85281, (602) 643-0024), TO BE DIAGNOSED. THE INTERNAL MEMORY WAS CLEARED HOWEVER, THE FAILURE PERSISTED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN BACK TO THE SAME DEALER AND THE CONTACT WAS INFORMED THAT THE COMPUTER NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER HAD NOT BEEN INFORMED OF FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 100,000.
