Consumer Description
13NOV2020 AT 10:13-H WHILE VEHICLE IS IN MOTION AT SPEEDS 50-55 AND HIGHER THE STEERING WHEEL SHAKES SO VIOLENTLY THAT SAFE CONTROL OF VEHICLE IS LOST UNTIL VEHICLE IS COMPLETELY STOPPED. THIS STEERING VIBRATION PROBLEM CAN BE FOUND AT NUMEROUS PLACES ON THE INTERNET AND FORD IS ALREADY AWARE OF PROBLEM. THE MOST LIKELY PLACE FOR THE DANGEROUS LOSS OF STEERING CONTROL IS WHEN VEHICLE CROSSES OVER A NON-PARALLEL BRIDGE EXPANSION JOINT. THIS VEHICLE IS ONE OF MULTIPLE VEHICLES IN THE FLEET WITH SAME PROBLEM. A DUPLICATE VEHICLE SAFETY COMPLAINT IS BEING FILED FOR VIN [XXX].
