Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2015 TOYOTA CAMRY. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING THERE WAS A BAD CHEMICAL SMELL THAT CAME FROM THE VENTS INTO CAB OF THE VEHICLE. THE DEALER GLEN TOYOTA19 POLLITT DR STE 01, FAIR LAWN, NJ 07410 (855) 532-7352 SAID THEY COULD NOT SMELL THE ODOR. THE CONTACT INVESTIGATED ONLINE AND FOUND OUT THERE WAS A CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT FOR THE ISSUE. THERE WAS A DEFECTIVE HEATING AND AIR CONDITION SMELL FROM A MOLD BUILDUP ON THE EVAPORATION. THIS EMITTED FOUL ODORS THROUGHOUT THE VEHICLE. THE MANUFACTURER GAVE THE CONTACT A CASE NUMBER AND SAID TO CALLBACK WHEN SHE RETURNED TO HER PERMANENT ADDRESS IN ANOTHER STATE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 8,000.
