Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2015 TESLA MODEL S. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE OPERATING THE VEHICLE, THE MASTER CONTROL UNIT (MCU) DISPLAY MALFUNCTIONED CAUSING THE TURN SIGNALS AND BACK-UP CAMERA DISPLAY TO NOT BE OPERABLE. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO TESLA WESTMONT LOCATED AT 50 OGDEN AVE, WESTMONT, IL 60559, WHO DIAGNOSED THAT THE MASTER CONTROL UNIT WAS DEFECTIVE AND NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED HOWEVER, THE FAILURE RECURRED. THE CONTACT INDICATED THAT THE MASTER CONTROL UNIT HAD BEEN REPLACED ON THREE SEPARATE OCCASIONS. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 50,000.
