Consumer Description

VEHICLE SENSORS AND WARNING LIGHTS ILLUMINATED WHILE THE CAR WAS IN MOTION ON THE HIGHWAY. PULLED CAR OFF AT NEAREST EXIT AND TURNED IGNITION OFF. COULD NOT RE-START VEHICLE FOR 10 MIN. FINALLY CAR STARTED, DROVE IT TO DEALER, THEY SAID IT WAS A LOOSE GROUND CABLE & TIGHTENED CONNECTION. 3 MONTHS LATER VEHICLE CAUGHT FIRE WHILE IN MOTION GOING 25MPH ON STREET. BURNED CABLES COMING OFF BATTERY TERMINAL. GM CEASED INVESTIGATION DUE TO THE BATTERY IN VEHICLE WAS NOT THE ORIGINAL FACTORY BATTERY.
