Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2014 FORD F-250. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 50 MPH AND AFTER DRIVING OVER A BUMP IN THE ROAD THE FRONT END BEGAN TO SHAKE, VIBRATE AND WOBBLE CAUSING THE DRIVER TO LOSE CONTROL OF THE STEERING AND CRASH INTO A DITCH. DURING THE INCIDENT NO INJURIES WERE REPORTED. THE CONTACT WAS ABLE TO CONTINUE DRIVING THE VEHICLE. THE FAILURE HAD ALSO OCCURRED ON SEVERAL OTHER OCCASIONS. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC WHO WAS UNABLE TO DETERMINE THE CAUSE OF THE FAILURE. THE LOCAL DEALER AND MANUFACTURER WERE NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 140,000. THE VIN WAS UNAVAILABLE.
