Consumer Description

TOUCHSCREEN FAILED ENTIRELY. TOUCHSCREEN HAD BEEN NOT OPERATING WELL FOR 5Y OR MORE, BUT COMPANY WOULD NOT TAKE RESPONSIBILITY. COMPANY REPORTED IT WAS DUE TO FIRMWARE OR SOFTWARE, BUT CLEAR THE MCU OR TOUCHSCREEN GRADUALLY LOST MORE AND MORE FUNCTIONALITY. WAS A SAFETY ISSUE WITH REAR CAMERA NOT ENGAGING AND VOICE COMMANDS FOR TRAFFIC OR GPS NOT WORKING, CLIMATE CONTROL ALSO INTERMITTENT. ALL FUNCTIONS WORSENED UNTIL FINAL FAILURE. EXTENDED WARRTANTY WAS NOT OFFERED. COMMUNICATION WAS WEAK AND INTERMITTENT, AND ITS OWN SAFETY ISSUES. NOW, REQUIRED TO PAY ENTIRE REPLACEMENT COST AND WORKING WELL.
