Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT'S SON OWNS A 2013 RAM 1500. THE CONTACT STATED THAT DURING HOT WEATHER, THE FUSE BOX OVERHEATED WHICH CAUSED THE BACK UP CAMERA SCREEN TO BE INOPERABLE OR TO BECOME DISTORTED. THE CONTACT ALSO STATED THAT THE AIR CONDITIONING UNIT WAS ALSO INOPERABLE. THE CONTACT REACHED OUT TO POMOCO CHRYSLER JEEP DODGE RAM OF NEWPORT NEWS (12629 JEFFERSON AVE, NEWPORT NEWS, VA 23602) WHERE HE WAS INFORMED THAT THERE WERE NO RECALLS ON THE VEHICLE. THE DEALER REFERRED THE CONTACT TO THE MANUFACTURER. THE MANUFACTURER WAS CONTACTED AND A CASE WAS FILED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED NOR REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 88,000.
