Consumer Description

SEVERAL EVENTS DURING ACCELERATION AFTER SLOWING (AS FOR A LIGHT THAT TURNED GREEN WHILE APPROACHING) THE ENGINE GOES TO FULL THROTTLE (MORE POWER THAN NORMALLY AVAILABLE) AND IT REQUIRES FULL HARD BRAKING FOR AN EXTENDED PERIOD OF TIME, AFTER AN AUDIBLE "POP" IT RESPONDS. THE HAND BOOK ADDRESSES THIS BRIEFLY, THE DEALER GIVES NO ANSWERS AND STATES THE VEHICLE IS SAFE. THERE IS NO INTERFERENCE FROM A FLOOR MAT ( THIS WOULD ONLY RESTRICT THE PEDAL GOING FULL ANYWAY). I HAVE CREDIBLE WITNESS TO THIS EVENT AND OTHER BACKGROUND IS THIS ENGINE WAS REBUILT BY FORD AFTER SEIZING UP AT 7900 MILES AND HAD NUMEROUS OTHER PROBLEMS SINCE INCLUDING FUEL SYSTEM AND AT LEAST 7 CAB REMOVALS.
