COMPLETE LOSS OF STEERING. CAR WARNINGS ON INSTRUMENT PANEL WHILE DRIVING AND VEHICLE HAD COMPLETE STEERING SHUTDOWN. COULD NOT TURN WHEEL AND ALMOST HAD AN ACCIDENT. FORD IS AWARE OF THESE POWER STEERING MODULE FAILURES AT LOW MILEAGES; MINE IS ONLY 63,519 MILES, BUT REFUSES TO RECALL OR REIMBURSE OWNERS UNTIL THE NHTSA TAKES ACTION. ARE WE JUST WAITING FOR PEOPLE TO DIE OR BECOME INJURED? MY CASE NUMBER WITH FORD IS [XXX]. THIS IS A SERIOUS SAFETY ISSUE THAT NEEDS YOUR ATTENTION, AGAIN!
