Consumer Description

ON MAY 31, 2020 I WAS TRAVELING FROM BALTIMORE, MD TO SAN ANTONIO TEXAS ON IH 85 SOUTH NEAR LEXINGTON, NC IN THE MIDDLE LANE AT 60 MPH WHEN MY VEHICLE TOTALLY SHUT DOWN TO A STOP. TRAFFIC WAS HEAVY BUT I SAFELY PULLED OFF TO THE SHOULDER AND CALLED FOR ROADSIDE ASSISTANCE. WE WAITED 3 HOURS BEFORE WE GOT A CAPABLE TOW FOR THE TRUCK AND THE U-HAUL WE WERE TOWING. THE TOW COMPANY TOWED MY TRUCK TO M&L CHRYSLER DODGE RAM DEALERSHIP IN LEXINGTON NC. THE NEXT MORNING ABOUT 8:00 AM, I CALLED THE CHRYSLER DODGE RAM DEALERSHIP FOR THE RESULTS OF THEIR DIAGNOSTICS. AROUND 11:00AM I CALLED BACK TO CHRYSLER DODGE RAM DEALERSHIP. THEY INFORMED ME THEY THINK THE PROBLEM WAS WITH THE FUEL SYSTEM AND THEY NEEDED TO ORDER THE PARTS AND IT WOULD TAKE A FEW DAYS AND THAT IT WOULD BE COVERED UNDER THE EMISSIONS RECALL V08 WARRANTY. *TR
