Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT 2013 FORD FUSION. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE PASSENGER'S SIDE FRONT DOOR FAILED TO LATCH SECURELY. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC TO BE INSPECTED. THE CONTACT WAS INFORMED THAT THE PASSENGER'S SIDE FRONT DOOR NEEDED TO BE REMOVED TO REPAIR THE DOOR LATCHING MECHANISM. AN UNKNOW DEALER WAS CONTACTED AND THE CONTACT WAS INFORMED THAT THE VEHICLE WAS NOT INCLUDED IN NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 17V210000 (LATHES/LOCKS/LINKAGES). THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 82,000.
