Consumer Description

I JUST BOUGHT MY TRUCK AND HAVE HONKED MY HORN TWO TIMES. BOTH TIMES THE PERFORATED SEAL FOR THE AIRBAG HAS SPLIT OPEN. I GOT IT REPAIRED THE FIRST TIME AND NOW I HAVE AN APPOINTMENT TO GET IT REPAIRED A SECOND TIME. THIS IS A DEFECT, YOU SHOULD BE ABLE TO APPLY PRESSURE TO HONK A HORN. ESPECIALLY IF SOMEONE PULLS OUT IN FRONT OF YOU AND YOU HAVE TO ABRUPTLY APPLY THE BRAKES AT THE SAME TIME AS HONKING. THIS CREATES A FORWARD FORCE THAT MAKES YOU PRESS HARDER AS WELL. THIS IS A SAFETY ISSUE AS WELL, AS I'M NOT SURE ABOUT THE AIRBAG NOW, IF IT WILL WORK AT ALL, OR IF IT WILL DEPLOY FOR NO REASON AND INJURE ME. BOTH TIMES I WAS DRIVING, BUT ONLY THE FIRST TIME DID I HAVE TO HIT THE BRAKES HARD, THE SECOND TIME WAS A NORMAL HONK WITH LIGHT TO MEDIUM PRESSURE. *TR
