TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2013 KIA SOUL. THE CONTACT RECEIVED NOTIFICATION OF NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 19V120000 (ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING). THE CONTACT STATED WHILE DRIVING AT APPROXIMATELY 25 MPH, THE CHECK ENGINE WARNING LIGHT ILLUMINATED. THE CONTACT STATED THAT SEVERAL DAYS PRIOR THERE WAS AN ABNORMAL SOUND COMING FROM THE ENGINE WHILE THE VEHICLE WAS PARKED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO KIA OF CARSON (22020 RECREATION RD, CARSON, CA 90745), WHERE THE VEHICLE WAS DIAGNOSED WITH SEVERAL UNKNOWN ISSUES. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 126,000.
