Consumer Description
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2005 NISSAN TITAN. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 15 MPH, THE VEHICLE DID NOT ACCELERATED ABOVE 15 MPH. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT TAKEN TO A DEALER OR AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC FOR A DIAGNOSTIC. THE CONTACT'S FATHER HAD A DIAGNOSTIC CODE READER AND THE CODES WERE ELECTRONIC THROTTLE ACTUATOR AND THROTTLE CONTROL MOTOR RELAY. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 155,000.
