Consumer Description
TL* THE CONTACT CALLED ON BEHALF HIS DAUGHTER WHO OWNS A 2012 KIA SPORTAGE. THE CONTACT STATED WHILE HIS DAUGHTER WAS DRIVING 35 MPH, THE VEHICLE STARTED MAKING AN ABNORMAL NOISE. THE CONTACT STATED NO WARNING LIGHT WAS ILLUMINATED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC AND WAS NOTIFIED THE ENGINE NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED NOR REPAIRED. A DEALER WAS NOT CONTACTED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS INFORMED OF FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS UNKNOWN.
