Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2012 DODGE GRAND CARAVAN. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING AT VARIOUS SPEEDS THE VEHICLE STALLED. THE VEHICLE OPERATED AS INTENDED AFTER IT WAS RESTARTED. THE CONTACT ALSO STATED THAT ON OCCASIONS WHILE ATTEMPTING TO START THE VEHICLE, THE VEHICLE FAILED TO BE STARTED WHICH CAUSED THE BATTERY TO DRAIN. ADDITIONALLY, THE FUEL PUMP REMAINED IN OPERATION EVEN AFTER THE IGNITION WAS TURNED OFF. THE CAUSE OF THE FAILURES WERE NOT DETERMINED. THE LOCAL DEALER MIKE ANDERSON CHRYSLER (417 S. 3RD ST. LOGANSPORT, IN.) AND THE MANUFACTURER WERE NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURES BUT NO ASSISTANCE WAS OFFERED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 150,000.
