Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2017 FORD FUSION. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE THE VEHICLE WAS BEING DRIVEN, THE TRANSMISSION STARTED SLIPPING AND THE PARKING BRAKE ACTIVATE SIMULTANEOUSLY. THE CONTACT ALSO INDICATED THAT THE TRANSMISSION TORQUE CONVERTER WAS DAMAGED. THE CAUSE OF THE FAILURES WERE NOT DETERMINED. THE LOCAL DEALER COVERT FORD (11514 RESEARCH BLVD, AUSTIN TX) AND THE MANUFACTURER WERE NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE BUT NO ASSISTANCE WAS OFFERED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 42,000.
