Consumer Description

MY CAR ENGINE STALLS ALL OF A SUDDEN WHILE THE CAR IS IN MOTION. I NOTICED THIS ISSUE 2 TIMES IN LAST SUMMER (2019) WHEN DRIVING ON THE LOCAL/TOWN ROADS. AFTER THAT THIS DID NOT HAPPEN UNTIL 2 DAYS AGO (1/29/2020) WHILE I WAS RETURNING HOME. AND IT HAPPENED AGAIN YESTERDAY (1/30/2020) WHILE I HAD LEFT MY SCHOOL CAMPUS. I HAVE BEEN GETTING MY CAR SERVICED AT THE RECOMMENDED SERVICE INTERVALS. WHEN THE CAR STOPS RIGHT IN THE MIDDLE OF THE ROAD, THE DISPLAY ASKS ME TO SHIFT INTO P AND RESTART THE CAR. THIS IS AN EXTREME HAZARD TO THE DRIVER/PASSENGERS. I CHECKED ONLINE AND THERE ARE OTHER PEOPLE WHO TOO HAVE HAD SIMILAR ISSUES. IS NHTSA TAKING ANY ACTION AGAINST JEEP OR WOULD YOU END UP WAITING FOR FATALITIES BEFORE ANY INVESTIGATION INTO THIS PROBLEM? HERE IS AN ARTICLE THAT DESCRIBES THE PROBLEM MENTIONED BY ME.
