Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2015 FORD FUSION. THE CONTACT STATED THAT UPON STARTING HER VEHICLE, THE VEHICLE BEGAN SMOKING FROM THE TAILPIPE AND WAS EMITTING A GAS ODOR. THE CONTACT WAS UNAWARE IF ANY WARNING LIGHTS ILLUMINATED ON THE VEHICLE. THE CONTACT HAD THE VEHICLE TOWED TO TINDOL FORD LOCATED AT 1901 E FRANKLIN BLVD, GASTONIA, NC 28054 WHERE THE VEHICLE WAS DIAGNOSED WITH A DEFECTIVE INJECTOR WHICH CAUSED THE FUEL TO SEEP THROUGH THE INJECTOR AND MIX WITH THE OIL, CAUSING THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE HAD NOT BEEN REPAIRED AFTER THE DIAGNOSIS. THE MANUFACTURER HAD BEEN NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 60,000. *DT*JB
