TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2016 JEEP COMPASS. WHILE DRIVING 40 MPH, THE VEHICLE HESITATED AND THE ELECTRONIC THROTTLE CONTROLLER WARNING INDICATOR ILLUMINATED. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE FAILURE PERSISTED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE CONTACT WAS CONCERNED THAT THE FAILURE WAS RELATED TO NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 16V907000 (ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING). NEITHER THE DEALER NOR THE MANUFACTURER WERE NOTIFIED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 57,000.
