Consumer Description

ON 12/11 AT 2:30PM POWER STEERING FAILED WITHOUT WARNING 5 MINUTES AFTER STARTING AND TURNING RIGHT ONTO JOHNNIE DODDS (CITY STREET). WARNING MESSAGE APPEARED INDICATING POWER STEERING FAILURE. DROVE SEVERAL MILES, PARKED AND SHUT OFF CAR. RESTARTED ABOUT 10 MINUTES LATER AND NO PROBLEMS SINCE. HAVE DRIVEN ABOUT 35 MILES WITH NO PROBLEMS. CONCERNED FOR SAFETY OF SUDDEN STEERING FAILURES IN FUTURE. FORD SERVICE ADVISOR AT JONES FORD INDICATED THAT THEY PROBABLY WOULDN'T FIND ANYTHING WRONG SINCE THEY CAN'T RECREATE THE PROBLEM.
