Consumer Description
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2015 JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE VEHICLE UNDERWENT AND UNKNOWN RECALL REPAIR REGARDING THE EMISSIONS THAT INCLUDED A REFLASH OF THE VEHICLE'S COMPUTER. DUE TO THE REFLASH, THERE WAS A LAG IN ACCELERATION OF 4 TO 6 SECONDS, WHICH PREVENTED THE VEHICLE FROM SAFELY MERGING INTO TRAFFIC. THE CONTACT FELT THAT THE REFLASH REPAIR WAS A SAFETY RISK FOR HIMSELF AND OTHERS. LARRY H. MILLER CHRYSLER JEEP DODGE RAM ALBUQUERQUE (8528 LOMAS BLVD NE, ALBUQUERQUE, NM 87110, (505) 404-0108) PERFORMED THE REPAIR. THE MANUFACTURER REFERRED THE CONTACT TO NHTSA. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 38,000.
