Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2016 JEEP PATRIOT. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE ENGINE STALLED AND ALL OF THE CAMSHAFT SENSORS WERE REPLACED. AFTER THE REPAIR, THE CHECK ENGINE WARNING INDICATOR CONTINUOUSLY ILLUMINATED. THE CONTACT DISCOVERED NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 16V907000 (ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING), BUT THE VEHICLE WAS NOT INCLUDED. THE CONTACT NOTIFIED MONTEREY BAY CHRYSLER DODGE JEEP RAM (555 AUTO CENTER DR, WATSONVILLE, CA 95076, (831) 724-2463) AND WAS INFORMED THAT HE WOULD HAVE TO PAY FOR A DIAGNOSTIC TEST. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 80,000. THE VIN WAS UNKNOWN.
