TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2017 DODGE GRAND CARAVAN. WHILE DRIVING 20 MPH, THE VEHICLE REVVED, BUT FAILED TO ACCELERATE AND MOVE. IN ADDITION, THE CHECK ENGINE WARNING INDICATOR ILLUMINATED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC WHO STATED THAT THE TRANSMISSION NEEDED TO BE REBUILT. THE LOCAL DEALER AND MANUFACTURER WERE NOT CONTACTED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 61,000.
