TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2017 RAM 2500. AFTER THE VEHICLE WAS SHIFTED INTO FOUR WHEEL DRIVE, THERE WAS AN ABNORMAL WHINING AND GRINDING SOUND COMING FROM THE FRONT DIFFERENTIAL. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO LITHIA CHRYSLER JEEP DODGE OF BILLINGS (2229 KING AVE W, BILLINGS, MT 59102, (406) 206-3601) WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THERE WAS WATER IN THE FRONT DIFFERENTIAL, WHICH CAUSED INSUFFICIENT LUBRICATION OF THE GEARS. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 40,000. THE VIN WAS NOT AVAILABLE.
