Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2016 FORD FUSION. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE CHECK ENGINE INDICATOR ILLUMINATED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC WHERE THE CONTACT WAS INFORMED THAT THERE WAS A MISFIRE AND THE VEHICLE WAS OVERHEATING. THERE WERE NO WARNING INDICATORS ILLUMINATED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AUTONATION FORD MIAMI (16800 NW 57TH AVE, HIALEAH, FL 33015, (305) 707-0141) WHERE THE ENGINE WAS REPLACED, BUT THE FAILURE RECURRED. THE CONTACT MENTIONED THAT THE FAILURE WAS PERSISTENT. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 40,000.
