Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2015 FORD FUSION. WHILE DRIVING 35 MPH, THERE WAS AN ABNORMAL SUCTION NOISE COMING FROM NEAR THE FUEL TANK AREA. ALSO, THE VEHICLE SHUDDERED AND THE CHECK ENGINE INDICATOR ILLUMINATED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC WHO DIAGNOSED THE VEHICLE AND DETERMINED THAT THE PURGE VALVE AND PCV) NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. JENKINS & WYNNE FORD, HONDA, & LINCOLN (2655 TRENTON RD, CLARKSVILLE, TN 37040, (931) 542-4886) WAS CONTACTED AND STATED THAT THE VIN WAS NOT INCLUDED IN A RECALL. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE FAILURE RECURRED MULTIPLE TIMES. THE MANUFACTURER WAS CONTACTED AND PROVIDED THE SAME INFORMATION AS THE DEALER. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 64,000.
