Consumer Description
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2006 JEEP LIBERTY. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE DRIVER'S SIDE FRONT BALL JOINT FRACTURED WITHOUT WARNING. WHILE DRIVING AT A LOW RATE OF SPEED, THE CONTACT INITIALLY BELIEVED THAT THE FRONT DRIVER'S SIDE TIRE WAS FLAT. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED AND STATED THAT THE VEHICLE HAD PREVIOUSLY BEEN REPAIRED PER NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 06V288000 (SUSPENSION). THE DEALER WAS NOT CONTACTED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 180,000.
