Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2014 FORD F-150. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE VEHICLE FAILED TO START. THE CONTACT LOOKED UNDER THE HOOD OF THE VEHICLE AND NOTICED THAT THE FUEL PUMP MODULE WAS BURNED ON ONE SIDE. THE DEALER WAS NOT CONTACTED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE AND INFORMED THE CONTACT THAT THERE WAS NO RECALL FOR THE FUEL PUMP MODULE TO BE REPLACED. THE CONTACT WAS REFERRED TO NHTSA TO FILE A COMPLAINT. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 83,400.
