Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2014 RAM 1500. WHILE DRIVING VARIOUS SPEEDS UP HILLS AND INCLINES, THE VEHICLE FAILED TO ACCELERATE AND THE SERVICE ELECTRIC THROTTLE CONTROL WARNING INDICATOR ILLUMINATED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO SHIELDS AUTO CENTER (225 S MEYERS ST, RANTOUL, IL, (217) 892-2155) WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE SYSTEM NEEDED TO BE UPDATED. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED, BUT THE FAILURE RECURRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 149,115. THE VIN WAS INVALID.
