Consumer Description
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2014 BMW 320I. WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 50 MPH, THE BRAKE WARNING INDICATOR ILLUMINATED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC WHO DIAGNOSED THAT THE PLUG AND PINS AND TAIL LIGHT ASSEMBLY NEEDED TO BE REPLACED DUE TO THE WIRING HARNESS BEING MELTED. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED. THE DEALER AND MANUFACTURER WERE NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 48,000.
