TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2010 HONDA ACCORD. WHILE THE VEHICLE WAS IDLING AT A TRAFFIC LIGHT, THE CHECK ENGINE AND VEHICLE STABILITY ASSIST SYSTEM WARNING INDICATORS ILLUMINATED. THE CONTACT WAS ABLE TO DRIVE TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC FOR DIAGNOSTIC TESTING AND SIX CODES APPEARED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO ROUTE 23 HONDA (LOCATED AT 700 NJ-23, POMPTON PLAINS, NJ 07444, (888) 733-9372), WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE PISTON RINGS NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 145,000.
