Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2017 FORD FUSION. WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 55 MPH THROUGH A BUSY INTERSECTION, THE VEHICLE SUDDENLY DECELERATED AND STALLED. AFTER TURNING THE ENGINE OFF AND BACK ON, THE "SHIFT SYSTEM FAULTY" MESSAGE WAS DISPLAYED. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO THE CONTACT'S HOME AND AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC DIAGNOSED THAT THE SHIFT CABLE CONNECTOR WAS FRACTURED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. PIONEER FORD (150 HWY 27 NORTH BYPASS, BREMEN, GA 30110) AND THE MANUFACTURER WERE NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 70,000.
