TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2010 FORD F-150. WHILE THE CONTACT WAS REACHING BETWEEN THE FRONT DRIVER'S SEAT AND THE MIDDLE CONSOLE TO RETRIEVE A PEN, SHE SUSTAINED A SEVERE LACERATION TO HER LEFT MIDDLE FINGER, WHICH REQUIRED MEDICAL TREATMENT. THE CAUSE OF THE FAILURE WAS NOT DETERMINED. THE MANUFACTURER AND DEALER WERE NOT NOTIFIED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 165,000.
