TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2014 JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO DCH CHRYSLER DODGE JEEP RAM FIAT OF TEMECULA (26845 YNEZ RD, TEMECULA, CA 92591, (951) 225-4541) FOR A SOFTWARE UPGRADE PER MANUFACTURER RECALL NUMBER: V08. AFTER THE REPAIR, THE VEHICLE WAS INOPERABLE. THE CONTACT MENTIONED THAT WHEN THE VEHICLE WAS STARTED AND THE ACCELERATOR PEDAL WAS DEPRESSED, THERE WAS A DELAY IN ACCELERATION. THE CONTACT MENTIONED THAT THE VEHICLE WOULD NOT ACCELERATE OVER 6 MPH. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN BACK TO THE DEALER FOR DIAGNOSTIC TESTING, BUT THE CAUSE OF THE FAILURE COULD NOT BE DETERMINED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 49,000.
