Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2015 GMC TERRAIN. WHILE DRIVING 30 MPH, THE VEHICLE BEGAN TO HESITATE AND THE CHECK ENGINE WARNING INDICATOR ILLUMINATED. ALSO, WHEN DEPRESSING THE ACCELERATOR PEDAL, THE VEHICLE WOULD NOT EXCEED MORE THAN 20 MPH. THE CONTACT NOTICED OIL AND TRANSMISSION FLUID LEAKING FROM THE VEHICLE. THE CONTACT STATED THAT SHE RECEIVED A LETTER FROM THE MANUFACTURER REGARDING THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO CASTLE BUICK GMC (LOCATED AT 7400 W CERMAK RD, NORTH RIVERSIDE, IL 60546, (708) 442-7474) WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT MULTIPLE UNKNOWN REPAIRS WERE NEEDED ON THE ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED, BUT THE FAILURES RECURRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 5,412.
