Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2010 FORD F-150. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE FRAME ON THE PASSENGER SIDE WAS RUSTED OUT. DUE TO THE CORROSION AND RUST, THE REINFORCEMENT WAS DAMAGED. IN ADDITION, THE BED OF THE VEHICLE HAD CORROSION AND RUST. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO TWO INDEPENDENT MECHANICS. THE FIRST MECHANIC ONLY PROVIDED A COST ESTIMATE FOR THE REPAIRS. THE SECOND MECHANIC INFORMED THE CONTACT TO CALL NHTSA. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER AND DEALER WERE NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 59,181.
