Consumer Description

A 2017-2019 CHEVROLET TRAX RECALL WAS ISSUED THAT WILL REPAIR PROBLEMS WITH JOINTS IN THE FRONT LOWER CONTROL ARMS THAT MAY HAVE BEEN IMPROPERLY WELDED, CAUSING THE CONTROL ARMS TO SEPARATE FROM THE SUVS. I HAVE BEEN TOLD NOT TO DRIVE THE VEHICLE DUE TO SAFETY CONCERNS. THE RECALL WAS ISSUED IN APRIL SO I HAVE NOW BEEN WITHOUT A VEHICLE FOR OVER FOUR MONTHS. NEITHER A CHEVROLET DEALER NOR THE CHEVROLET HEADQUARTERS WILL DO ANYTHING TO PROVIDE A RENTAL CAR UNTIL THEY CAN DETERMINE WHEN THEY CAN REPAIR THE VEHICLE. WHAT ARE MY OPTIONS?
