Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT'S FRIEND OWNS A 2017 HONDA CR-V. THE CONTACT STATED THAT FUEL WAS LEAKING INTO THE ENGINE OIL WITHOUT WARNING. WHEN THE CONTACT'S FRIEND CHECKED THE OIL, THE OIL TANK HAD OVERFLOWED AND A FUEL ODOR WAS DETECTED ON THE OIL DIPSTICK. THE CONTACT'S FRIEND TOOK THE VEHICLE TO DON AYRES HONDA (4740 LIMA RD, FORT WAYNE, IN 46808, 260-484-0551) AND WAS INFORMED THAT THEY COULD REPLACE THE OIL. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED AND PROVIDED A CASE NUMBER. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 36,000.
