TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2015 FORD TAURUS. WHILE DRIVING 5 MPH AND MAKING A TURN, THE VEHICLE STALLED AND THE OIL CHANGE MESSAGE WAS DISPLAYED. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO AN INDEPENDENT LOT AND THE TOW TRUCK DRIVER STATED THAT THE FUEL PUMP WAS INOPERABLE. THE CONTACT CALLED ACADEMY FORD (13401 BALTIMORE AVE, LAUREL, MD 20707, (800) 658-7794) AND INFORMED THEM OF THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS CONTACTED AND REFERRED THE CONTACT TO THE LOCAL DEALER. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 80,000.
