Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2016 HONDA CR-V. WHILE TURNING ONTO A BUSY STREET, THE VEHICLE WOULD NOT ACCELERATE WITH THE SPEED OF THE TRAFFIC. THE FAILURE OCCURRED FREQUENTLY. HENDRICK HONDA (8901 SOUTH BLVD, CHARLOTTE, NC 28273, (704) 552-2090) STATED THAT THE FAILURE WAS CAUSED BY A THROTTLE POSITION SENSOR FAILURE. AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC ALSO INSPECTED THE VEHICLE AND STATED THAT THE MANUFACTURER WAS AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT CONTACTED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 43,000.
